What Cost Taxpayers 178 Billion Dollars A Year ?
Diabetes ! It is now being called the silent killer . After watching the Oprah Winfery show I was amazed to find out americans consume over 150lbs of sugar a year mainly pop that contains 20 grams of sugar per serving
Iam so glad that TEAM MO is invloved with fitness and the education of all of its members. Just by working out 30 mintues a day you can reduce your chance of getting diabetes by 60%, cutting out pop reduces down it another 40 %. I believe it comes down how we were raised and who are examples were while growing up. What stunned me was that while watching the show, Dr Oz said that taking care of people that have diabetes is going to bankrupt the healthcare system in the next 15 years.
Cutting out pop has been hard for me(miss my pepsi). I even went through withdrawls had heaaches for weeks.Since meeting my meeting with Mo Iam down 16lbs. !. The cost of diabetes will effect us all in the long run Just think moving 30 mintues a day could actually save your life
The reason they refer to it as the silent killer is because diabetes is slow moving the results take years to delveop then BAM ! BAM! KABOOM! it comes in like a flood and then your mind goes back to all the messages that were given to you down through the years
My goal is simple live healthy think differently make better food choices my teacher ? Take a guess

Dropping Lbs AND Knowledge
First off, George - CONGRATS on the weight loss. 16lbs.. THAT IS AWESOME!!
Thank you for posting this blog on diabetes. This is a silent killer and has affected a loved one, in alsmost every one I know. In a society where we tend to be REactive, the steps that you are taking are PROactive and PREventitive. I'm sure giving up the pop has been hard, but when you start believing that you are eating with purpose, it makes us more selective about the foods (and drinks) we CHOOSE to allow into our bodies. Absolutely, you must enjoy the special and rare occasions to indulge in your favorite treat.. but as with everything else in life, with moderation.
Please continue to share and keep us posted on your progress. I will be visiting you again SOON!
Be Blessed & Bless Others,
Mona Liza "MO" Reyes
