Calorie Counting Label Reading And Eating Less

Ok i now hold the worlds record for longest title of a blog. Lately i have found myself label reading more then ever keep in mind some of the ingridents I have never heard ohf.however from what I have learned from others is that you stay away from salt and sugar
Just wondering if reading all labels is a waste of time or should we bee learned reading everything ? I have found out that eating less is a big part of being healthy, Also  confessI must   that the labels @ times are confusing salt content sugar, calories per serving and trans fat (what is that?)
My goal is to lose weight in a healthy way and not be distracted I have learned so much from this website and because of it a wonderful friendship has delvoped. I do believe that label reading is important but staying away from fast food and sugar that is a must sugar intake shoule as limited as possible I hope 2010 has started off good for all the TEAM MO members this month has gone by so fast. Enjoy the rest of the week

You're headed in the right direction George!
By no means should you become "obsessed" about reading labels, however, you should be mindful of what you are putting into your body. As you know, the weightloss you've achieved, thus far, has taken alot of work that simply making poor eating choices (consistently) is absolute sabatoge to your efforts. I'm not so much of a fan of "calorie counting" as it really boils down to quality & substance of what you're eating. For example, a bowl of cereal w/milk may be LESS in calories than a cup of oatmeal w/banana slices.. however that oatmeal is more satisfying and will keep you fuller longer than the cereal.

Please continued to share your thoughts and progress. THIS is what GO TEAM MO is all about! :)

Be Blessed & Bless Others,
