2 months...

Gregory's picture

Just under two months away and I attempt to step on stage. I can feel the butterflies in my stomach as I type this. Being the first time, I am nervous. Very nervous about the entire situation. Each and every day, I look at myself in the mirror, wondering if I will make it in time. Trainers say everything is going as planned, but I just don't see it that way when looking in the mirror.
Why is it we tend to see ourselves as not yet ready, when those who we put our trust in say we are doing just fine and to quit worrying about it. Easier said then done. I still find myself self needing to lose alot of excess fat around the waist area yet.
"Plenty of time left."
"Just continue watching what you eat."
I keep hearing those two lines day in and day out. I guess I will see how well I do when the time comes.

Have a great day Team Mo'.

Trust, Trust, Trust

the confidence that your trainers have in you and your progress. Trust that you are doing exactly what you need to be doing to get you to where you need to be. I would be worried if you looked the way you need to look 2 months early. What matters most, especially in bodybuilding/figure competitions, is what you look like the moment you step on that stage. I have had it happen where I looked awesome 2 - 3 weeks before a competition, was booking photoshoots multiple days in a week and then when competition day came.. I didn't look as good as I did weeks prior. Your body is changing before your very eyes.. and it change even MORE when you're just weeks away and double that when you're just days away. Continue to trust and believe that your trainers have already set a plan for you and they only want to see you succeed and look your absolute best.:)
Thank you for keeping us posted and updating a new default pic. Can I do my laundry on that washboard stomach? :) Keep them blog posts coming Team MO!

Be Blessed & Bless Others,
